Scholarship assistance through The Ray Charles Foundation will help African-American students with high academic promise to defray their significant financial need.

For the 2018-2019 academic school year (5) scholarship awards of up to $4,500 will be made to students who meet the following eligibility criteria, and will be renewable up to one-year provided these criteria are maintained:

* Students must be an African-American;

* College junior enrolled full-time at a UNCF member institution;

* Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; and

* Students must have a demonstrated unmet financial need (per your college or university Office of Financial Aid)

Please allow 6-8 weeks from the closing date for award decisions to be made. Both selected and non selected students will be notified and inquiries after this time, may be directed to Ms. JaiSun McCormick at jaisun.mccormick@uncf.org
