Notice: applicants MUST be a current Sophomore student attending a UNCF-member institution.

As a leader in the philanthropic space, Enterprise commitments range from global philanthropic initiatives to community focused projects. Additionally, Enterprise is committed in partnering with local nonprofit organizations engaged in sustainable initiatives and building stronger communities.

In joining forces with UNCF, the Enterprise Holdings ROAD Forward Scholarship was established to provide need-based assistance for first-generation (first from your immediate family members to attend college), African American college sophomore students currently attending a UNCF Member Institution https://uncf.org/member-colleges in order to help their persistence to and through college. For renewal, students must continue to meet the specified criteria.

Program Features:

In addition to renewal scholarship assistance, the Enterprise Holdings ROAD Forward Scholarship includes the following:

*A Dedicated UNCF College Success Coach.

Program Requirements:

The application is now open for the 2022-23 academic year. Applicants for the program must meet the following requirements:

*Possess a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.

*Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

*Be a first-generation college student.

*Have a demonstrated, unmet financial need as verified by your college or university.

*Be enrolled full-time at an accredited UNCF Member Institution.

Application Process:

For consideration, application must be submitted online and include the following:

1. A copy of college transcript (unofficial can be submitted).

2. An online recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or community leader (letters from family members and friends are unacceptable). Please use the recommendation instructions located to the right for further assistance.

3. A response to essay prompt regarding career interests/goals and why.
