Designed to unite, empower, and inspire the next generation of creators, the adidas Legacy program was built for underrepresented communities in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City.
Administered by UNCF, the adidas Legacy Scholarship reflects the brand’s commitment to support the educational endeavors of graduating seniors attending any one of the 27 high school participants of the adidas Legacy Program (see the full list of eligible participants under “High Schools” on this page). This year, the program will award 64 scholarships, up to $10,000, to the Class of 2022 graduating seniors, who share a passion to become mentors and changemakers in their community.
For consideration applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), be a citizen, national, or permanent resident of the U.S. and plan to be enrolled as a full-time, first-year student in Fall 2022, at a U.S. located, four-year accredited college or university, two-year community college, trade/technical school, or certificate program.
Recipients of the adidas Legacy Scholarship should have demonstrated community service and declare no interest or intent to play National Collegiate Athletic Association (“NCAA”) varsity sports.
Scholars will be selected based on academic performance, the essay’s content and quality, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities.
Financial need will be considered, and preference will be given to adidas Legacy program alumni.
Applicants who have submitted complete applications will be sent an email confirming that their application has been received. If you do not receive this email, the application was probably not submitted correctly.
