Eunice Walker Johnson was a business leader and humanitarian, particularly concerned with the encouragement of African American youth. Mrs. Johnson was the producer and director of the world's largest traveling fashion show, Ebony Fashion Fair, which has donated some of its proceeds to UNCF. Through her generous donation, UNCF will be awarding scholarships up to $5,000 in the 2020-2021 academic year (this semester) to students attending one of the 37 UNCF member HBCUs or Selma University in Alabama.

Prospective candidates must:

* Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.

* Be currently enrolled full-time at one of the 37 UNCF member schools or Selma University. A listing of UNCF member schools can be located at https://uncf.org/member-colleges

* Have a demonstrated unmet financial need (will be verified by college/university of record).

* Complete the online application in its entirety. Any applications not 100% complete by the closing date will not be considered.  

 

Students who have been selected as recipients will be notified about 1 month after the closing date of the scholarship.
