The Connecticut Wealth Management Scholarship is a need-based scholarship program for students who are from Connecticut. One scholarship will be awarded to a student for their junior and senior year. (Eligibility criteria must continue to be met for renewal in senior year.)
Applicants for the program must meet the following criteria:
*Be African American
*Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
*Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid ("FAFSA") form and have a demonstrated, unmet financial need as verified by their college or university.
*Reside in or be a permanent resident of Connecticut
*Be a college sophomore during the time of application. A member of the college graduation class of 2024
Students shall submit an online application complete with:
*A submitted recommendation form
*A statement of career interest
*A current transcript (unofficial)
All majors are encouraged to apply, although preference will be given to students with business or business-related majors.
Letter of Recommendation Troubleshooting
Applicants must invite recommenders to submit Letters of Recommendation during the application process. If a recommender does not receive the automated instructions via email, applicants should download the How to Write a Reference Without an Invitation Code document, found on the right side of this page, and email it to their recommender.
