NASCAR has partnered with UNCF to recognize the achievement of Wendell Scott, Sr. in NASCAR. He achieved a significant accomplishment within the industry by becoming the first African-American to win a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Race. The eligible candidates must be classified within one of the undergraduate classifications or enrolled in the targeted Master's degree programs. The NASCAR/Wendell Scott, Sr. Scholarship will provide the selected recipients with scholarships during the 2018-19 year.
Candidates must be enrolled full-time at a four-year college or university and must have a major in Business related disciplines, Communications, Engineering, Information Technology or Public Relations.
For full award consideration, students must complete an application, and invite a reference to submit a recommendation online. Candidates should submit their application, a transcript, a resume and required video. The video instructions are included within the Authorization Section of the internal application.
