The Walt Disney UNCF Enhanced Corporate Scholarship, supported by a $1 million commitment from the Walt Disney Company, is providing  scholarships to high-achieving African American students across the country. This program will also offer access to career readiness tools to assist students in achieving their goals in the entertainment industry through mentorship with The Walt Disney Company during the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year.

Program Goals:

The goals of The Walt Disney Company UNCF Enhanced Corporate Scholarship is to help alleviate the financial strain for students with interest in entering the entertainment industry. Juniors selected for this one-time scholarship opportunity will receive a $2,500 scholarship and access to The Walt Disney Company mentoring program for the 2022-2023 academic year. 

 Eligibility Requirements:

• African American junior enrolled full-time at a four-year college or university
• Student must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
• Submission of a 500-word essay demonstrating an interest in pursuing a career in the entertainment industry (e.g., film, television, journalism, media production, digital media, finance, technology, education, sports marketing, animation, etc.) as demonstrated by the application essay.
