The Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools is the fourth largest school system in North Carolina and the 81st largest school system in the United States.  With their longstanding relationship with UNCF, the workplace campaign has provided invaluable scholarship support to well-deserved graduating seniors. 

The scholarship candidates must be a current high school senior in the Class of 2022 within the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School District.  The applicants must be seeking enrollment at any accredited four-year institution during the Fall 2022 Semester as a Freshmen.  In addition, this scholarship will also encourage students to pursue a career in the field of education. Upon the continual adherence with the program's guidelines, the selected recipients will be eligible to receive the scholarship up to $5,000 for four years. 

For full award consideration, students must complete the online application including a one-page essay.  Candidates must also invite one reference to submit one recommendation online. The reference must be familiar with the student's community service and involvement.  In addition, the candidates will submit their recent transcript.
