The Robert Dole Scholarship for Disabled Students is funded by the honorable former Senate majority leader Robert Dole who was severely wounded in World War II. Robert Dole Scholarship for Disabled Students provides scholarships to physically and mentally challenged students attending one of the 37 UNCF member colleges or universities.
Students must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program of study at a UNCF member school. High School students are ineligible for consideration.
Applicants for the Robert Dole Scholarship for Disabled Students must be physically or mentally challenged attending one of the 37 UNCF member colleges or universities. Selected students will receive up to $3,500 need based award.
In order to be considered, students must:
-have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA
-attend one of the UNCF member schools
-discuss their physical or mental disability in a 500 word essay
