UNCF Budweiser Natalie Johnson Scholarship

UNCF Budweiser Natalie Johnson Scholarship Program was established in August 2020 by Anheuser-Busch in partnership with United Negro College Fund – UNCF, in the name of Natalie Johnson who is a graduate of Fisk University in Tennessee; and currently the first African American female Brewing Director, North America, working at the Anheuser-Busch brewery in St. Louis.

The program is designed to provide scholarship opportunities to entering college juniors and/or seniors who attend a four-year, accredited, historically black college or university (“HBCU”) in the fall 2022. 

 Eligibility Requirements 

  Applicants for the UNCF Budweiser Natalie Johnson Scholarship program must meet the following eligibility requirements

  1. Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  2. Must be entering college juniors or seniors in the fall 2022.
  3. Must enroll full-time at a four-year, accredited, historically black college or university (“HBCU”) in the fall 2022. 
  4. Have a declared major in the following academic disciplines: mechanical, electrical, chemical or industrial engineering; chemistry; marketing; economics; sales; finance; or supply chain logistics. 

Application Requirements 

For consideration, applicants must submit the online application complete with the following required application materials by the application due date of May 2, 2022

  1. Current transcript.
  2. Updated resume.
  3. Write and submit a 250-500 word essay based on the following question: Describe how you demonstrate leadership ability both in and out of school.

Selected students will receive a one time $4,000 scholarship award in the fall 2022.

The scholarship recipients will be requested to submit, via their cell phone, a thank you video of no more than 60 seconds to UNCF before the funds are sent to their attending institutions. UNCF will share the recipients' thank you video and contact information with Anheuser-Busch
