The UNCF Health Careers Scholarship Program is designed to assist in the development of a more diverse workforce in health professions in Greater Cleveland. University Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic and Kaiser Foundation are partnering with UNCF to develop an endowed scholarship for students of CSSM (Cleveland School of Science and Medicine) at John Hay High School who plan to enter the health professions.
The Scholarship Program is a merit-based scholarship, restricted to Seniors at CSSM (Cleveland School of Medicine) at John Hay High School, who have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a scale of 4.0. Students must be enrolled on a full-time basis during the 2019-20 academic year. Students must complete an on-line application complete with a letter of recommendation, one-page personal statement of career interest and a current academic transcript. Award recipients may be eligible for renewal.
Please be advised that the selected students will be awarded for the 2019-2020 academic year.
